ANTI-ILLEGAL drugs operatives arrested a fisherman and seized over 5 million worth of shabu in an entrapment operation in Bgy. Linasin, San Marcelino, Zambales on Independence Day.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, the Zambales police identified the suspect as alias “Riviera,” 46, of Masinloc, Zambales.
Members of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Zambales and the San Marcelino police conducted a buy-bust on the suspect.
Confiscated were around 755 grams of shabu worth at least P5,134,000.
The arrested suspect is now detained at the San Marcelino Police jail facility facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
