A PIECE of concrete debris on Tuesday fell from a condominium unit injuring three students in Tomas Morato, Quezon City.
Two of the victims are in serious condition at the hospital.
Witnesses told probers that the three students had just stepped out of a convenience store on A. Roces Avenue at the corner of Tomas Morato when plaster from between the seventh and eighth floors of a building suddenly fell and struck the victims on the head at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Two of the victims were knocked unconscious and were given first aid at the scene before being rushed to Capitol Medical Center.
The families of the victims are seeking financial help amid rising hospital expenses.
The local government of Quezon City said it will be providing aid to the students and their families.
The Quezon City police is investigating the cause of the incident.
