CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — The Regional Internal Affairs Service 3 (RIAS-3) conducted a proactive inspection of personnel from the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) to ensure accountability and compliance with the “Tamang Bihis” or proper uniform policy.
The inspection team led by RIAS-3 acting director Col. Fermoyle M. Meno checked the personnel records, issued firearms, and adherence to prescribed uniforms among police officers.
The team composed of Col. Janette de Vera, Lt. Sylvia Elimansil, and Msg. Michael Petite examined the readiness and compliance with established standards of the PRO3 personnel.
Earlier, unit chiefs were directed to ensure their personnel and records were prepared for the inspection, which aims to strengthen discipline, professionalism, and accountability within the police force.
Officials said similar inspections will also be carried out in provincial and city police offices in line with the focused agenda of Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., chief of the Philippine National Police.
According to PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez, the inspection highlights the commitment of RIAS and the PRO3 to uphold discipline, integrity, and public trust within the police organization.
