TWO people on Thursday were killed after a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tank exploded in a house in Diamond Village, Bgy. Salawag, Dasmariñas City, Cavite.
Police identified the victims as “Bryan,” 20; and “Honorio,” 65; both residents of the village.
The remains of one of the victims were found on the veranda while the other outside the house.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Dasmariñas, the blast occurred around 9:06 a.m. on Thursday in the house of a certain Greg, 65, owner of Trijonetrics Corp. LPG.
Firefighters immediately responded to contain the blaze caused by the blast.
Neighbors told probers that they heard a loud explosion from the victims’ house followed by a fire.
A fire out was declared around 9:55 a.m. of the same day.
Police requested the help of the Forensic Unit to conduct an in-depth investigation into the explosion.
