MOTORCYCLE-RIDING armed men posing as customers before Monday dawn robbed a gasoline station in Bgy. Mabiga, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
A report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jess Mendez by the Pampanga Police Provincial Office showed the cashier and pump attendant of Cleanfuel gasoline station reported the burglary.
The gas station employee told probers that the suspects arrived on a black motorcycle and pretended to be customers by asking the attendant to refuel their motorcycle with P100 worth of gasoline.
The attendant was dispensing fuel when the two men got off the motorbike and one of them suddenly pulled out a gun and declared a holdup.
The robbers then forced their way to the cashier’s booth, where they grabbed around P3,000 from the cash register before fleeing northbound.
Personnel of the Mabalacat City Police Station immediately issued a flash alarm and launched a hot pursuit operation to identify and arrest the suspects.
Police investigators are reviewing available evidence, including possible closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage from the gasoline station and nearby establishments to help track down the perpetrators.
