OPERATIVES of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Thursday arrested a big-time drug trafficker in a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Tungkong Mangga, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.
PDEA said alias “Tol,” a resident of Caloocan City, was involved in the bulk distribution of shabu across Bulacan and nearby towns in Pampanga.
Seized from the suspect were around 500 grams of suspected shabu worth P3.4 million and the marked money used in the entrapment.
According to PDEA, it took them two months of surveillance and coordination before they were able to arrange a transaction with the target.
“Tol was very elusive and extremely cautious in his dealings, this is why it took months to set up a successful drug transaction with him,” the PDEA said.
The sting was conducted by the combined elements from the PDEA Zambales Provincial Office, PDEA RO3 Special Enforcement Team, and PDEA Bulacan Provincial Office.
