THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has committed to keeping basic commodity prices stable this Christmas season.
In a press briefing on Tuesday, Presidential Communications Office (PCO) and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the DTI’s commitment is part of efforts of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s administration to help consumers, particularly amid fluctuating oil prices due to the ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
Castro emphasized that the government is implementing interventions across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao to ensure Filipinos nationwide receive support.
She also assured the public that fuel supplies would remain uninterrupted even as global oil prices continue to fluctuate due to geopolitical tensions.
