AFTER five weeks of price hikes, oil companies will cut fuel prices today, February 13, 2024.
In separate advisories, Shell, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petro Gazz, and Seaoil said they will reduce gasoline prices by P0.60 per liter and P0.10 per liter for diesel.
Shell, Caltex and Seaoil will also slash kerosene prices by P0.40 per liter.
Other oil firms are expected to follow suit.
Based on a data from the Department of Energy, current retail pump prices ranged from P56.30 to P81.58 per liter for gasoline, P52.90 to P83.56 per liter for diesel, and from P72.85 to P84.28 per liter for kerosene.
Since the start of the year, gasoline prices have risen by P5 per liter, diesel by P3.40 per liter, and kerosene by P2.25 per liter.
