CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Three people, including a child, on Friday died in a fire that hit a junk shop in Meycauayan, Bulacan.
A report submitted to Police Regional Office 3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. identified the fatalities as Artemio Ines Jr., his live-in partner Christina Ababon, and their daughter Angel Ines, 7.
The couple were workers of the shop.
An investigation showed the fire hit the Akilan Scrap Trading on Soriano St., Bgy. Libtong at 1 p.m. on Friday.
The fire that reached third alarm was declared under control after more than two hours.
Firefighters found the bodies of the victims from the debris.
Probers have yet to determine what started the fire and the cost of fire damage.
