CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Five were arrested while more than P2-million worth of shabu was seized in anti-illegal drug operations in Pampanga.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Angeles City police commander Col. Amado Mendoza said operatives from the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit-Angeles City Police Office conducted a buy-bust operation on Kalayaan Road in Bgy. Cutcut, Angeles City.
The operation led to the arrest of two suspects identified as “Tonio” and “Boyong” and the confiscation of approximately 55 grams of suspected shabu valued at P374,000.
On Saturday, the San Fernando City police launched an entrapment in Bgy. Del Pilar, City of San Fernando, resulting in the apprehension of alias “Louie” and “Koko,” who yielded some 215 grams of shabu worth P1,462,000.
In a separate operation in Bgy. San Isidro, City of San Fernando, trike driver alias “Fahdel” was arrested and seized from him were P612,000 worth of illegal drugs.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects.
“The commitment of our police to ensure public safety and uphold the rule of law is reinforced by these successful operations,” Hidalgo said.
