BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n POLICE on Monday arrested a 26-year-old man accused of raping and stabbing an 84-year-old bedridden woman to death in Floridablanca, Pampanga.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, Pampanga police director Col. Jay Dimaandal identified the suspect as alias \u201cAlex\u201d of Floridablanca.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Investigation showed the suspect entered the victim’s house in Bgy. San Nicolas and stole two cellphones and a wallet.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Alias \u201cAlex\u201d saw the bedridden elderly woman and molested her. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The old woman struggled with the suspect, who stabbed her to death.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The victim\u2019s family immediately informed the gruesome incident to the barangay officials, who called the police.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Lawmen launched an operation, which resulted in the arrest of the suspect.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Seized from the suspect were the cellphone and wallet he stole from the victim.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Robbery and rape with homicide charges are being readied for filing in court against the suspect.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" BY KEVIN GALANG POLICE on Monday arrested a 26-year-old man accused of raping and stabbing an 84-year-old bedridden woman to death in Floridablanca, Pampanga.
