THE Bureau of Immigration (BI) has announced job openings as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen border security and improve immigration services.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The initiative aligns with the agency\u2019s \u201cBagong Immigration\u201d vision, which supports President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.\u2019s Bagong Pilipinas campaign for a more efficient and modernized government service.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n BI Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado emphasized the critical role of hiring competent individuals to meet the Bureau\u2019s evolving demands.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cWe are looking for the best and the brightest ndividuals with integrity, commitment, and a strong sense of duty to the nation. Serving in the Bureau of Immigration is more than a career; it is a calling to protect our borders and uphold the law,\u201d he stated.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Bureau is primarily seeking applicants for the Immigration Officer position.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Immigration Officers are at the frontline of border control, ensuring that all arriving and departing passengers comply with Philippine immigration laws.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Applicants are required to be a graduate of any four-year course and have civil service eligibility.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Aside from Immigration Officers, the BI is also hiring Intelligence Officers, Administrative Aides, and Fingerprint Examiners to support its operations.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Viado encouraged both fresh graduates and experienced professionals to seize this opportunity to serve the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cWe need individuals who are ready to make a difference.
