BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n OPERATIVES on Sunday arrested two \u201chigh-value targets\u201d and seized over P7 million worth of shabu in an entrapment operation in Bgy. Malabanias, Angeles City.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, Angeles City police acting director Col. Joselito Villarosa Jr. identified the suspects as alias \u201cUsup,\u201d 36, Bgy. LNW, Angeles City; and alias \u201cTobats,\u201d 31, a mechanic and a resident of Bgy. Lourdes Sur, Angeles City.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to Station 4 commander Maj. Marlon Ventus, members of the City Intelligence Unit, Angeles City Police Station launched the buy-bust on the two suspects allegedly involved in victimizing Korean nationals at Korea Town in Bgy. Anunas, Bgy. Balibago and Bgy. Pampang. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Coordination was conducted with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Officer 3 for the operation, along with the Station Drug Enforcement Unit personnel of Police Stations 4 and 6, Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit, and the CIU, which resulted in the arrest of the suspects and the confiscation of around 1,043.01 grams of suspected shabu worth P7,092,468.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Also seized were one cal. .45 gun, suppressor\/silencer and 12 live bullets, drug paraphernalia, a vehicle used in the illegal drugs trade, and the marked and boodle money.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Villarosa said the arrested suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act and the Omnibus Election Code.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" BY KEVIN GALANG OPERATIVES on Sunday arrested two “high-value targets” and seized over P7 million worth of shabu in an entrapment operation in Bgy.
