BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga \u2013 Operatives of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) arrested seven \u201chigh-value individuals\u201d and seized over P8 million worth of shabu in drug operations in Central Luzon over the weekend.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A report submitted to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen Jean S. Fajardo showed that on March 23, a joint anti-illegal drugs operation led by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of the Police Stations 4 and 6, the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit (ACDEU), and the City Intelligence Unit (CIU) resulted in the arrest of alias \u201cUsup,\u201d 36, a listed HVI from Bgy. Lourdes Northwest, and alias \u201cTobats,\u201d 31, from Bgy. Lourdes Sur.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Confiscated were 1,043.01 grams of suspected shabu valued at P7,092,468, a cal. .45 pistol, a suppressor\/silencer, live ammunition, drug paraphernalia, a vehicle used in their illegal activities and the buy-bust money.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The operation stemmed from intelligence informations gathered by the CIU, ACPO, which linked the suspect to illegal drug distribution and robbery-holdup incidents targeting Korean nationals in barangays Anunas, Balibago, and Pampang.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n On March 22, the Bulacan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) executed a series of anti-illegal drug operations, resulting in the arrest of five HVIs and the confiscation of 120 grams of suspected shabu worth P816,000.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Personnel of the Meycauayan City Police Station\u2019s Drug Enforcement Unit arrested alias \u201cPao,\u201d 41, a call center agent, and alias \u201cJokjok\u201d, 42, a mechanic, in Bgy. Lawa, Meycauayan City. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The duo were caught with 54 grams of shabu valued at P367,200.00.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Shortly after, San Jose Del Monte City Police Station (SJDM CPS) operatives apprehended alias \u201cJules,\u201d 39, and alias \u201cRey,\u201d 40, in Bgy. Bagong Buhay 1.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Seized from the suspects were 51 grams of shabu worth P346,800.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Later that evening, a joint buy-bust operation by the CDEU-SJDM CPS and PIU-Bulacan Police Provincial Office in Bgy. Graceville, SJDM, led to the arrest of alias \u201cDondon,\u201d 41, a member of the “Mangoda Group” involved in gun-for-hire and drug operations. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Recovered from \u201cDondon\u201d were 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000.00 and a cal. .45 pistol.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Fajardo lauded the operatives for their relentless pursuit of drug syndicates, emphasizing that their dedication extends beyond regular duty hours.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cThese operations prove that our fight against illegal drugs knows no time off.
