OPERATIVES arrested the <\/strong>alleged \u201cbrains\u201d and an accomplice in the murder <\/strong>in November 2018 <\/strong>of <\/strong>Dominic Sytin, a multi-millionaire businessman in Subic.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo said Sytin’s younger brother, Alan Dennis Lim Sytin, the alleged mastermind, was arrested in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia on March 22.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “You can run, but you can never truly hide. This arrest proves that no matter how long it takes, justice will always prevail,” Fajardo said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to Fajardo, Alan Dennis was one of Central Luzon\u2019s most wanted fugitives who had a P10-million bounty for his capture.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The second suspect,<\/strong> Edrian T. Rementilla alias \u201cRyan Rementilla\/Oliver Fuentes,\u201d the subject of a P4 million reward, was tracked down in his hideout in Purok 16, Buhanginan Hills in Bgy. Pala-o, Iligan City around 10:30 p.m. last Saturday.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The murder of the Subic entrepreneur, which took place on November 28, 2018 in front of a hotel in Subic Bay Freeport, was a high-profile case that shook the business community.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Gunman Edgardo Luib, who was arrested and convicted, confessed that Alan Dennis Lim Sytin orchestrated the killing. Rementilla was tagged as a \u201cmiddleman\u201d in the hit job.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The PRO3 sought the help of the Office of the Police Attach\u00e9 in Malaysia, which coordinated closely with the Royal Malaysia Police, to arrest the alleged mastermind.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Following intensive intelligence and surveillance operations, authorities successfully tracked and captured Sytin.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Efforts are now underway to facilitate Sytin\u2019s immediate repatriation to the Philippines, where he will face legal proceedings, said the PRO3 director.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cThis operation highlights the power of international cooperation in bringing fugitives to justice.
