BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A SOLDIER on Sunday drowned while swimming at a resort in Gen. Tinio, Nueva Ecija. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo showed the victim was a 38-year-old member of the Philippine Army residing in Victoria, Tarlac. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Prior to the drowning incident, police were told by the 102nd Infantry Battalion, 51nfantry Division\u00a0Isabela acting company commander that they conducted a team-building activity at the resort.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Fellow soldiers said they last saw the victim around 3 p.m. of the same day but during personnel accounting at 5 p.m., they discovered that the victim was missing.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The group searched for the victim and found him\u00a0unconscious and submerged in one of the swimming pools in the resort.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The soldier was rushed to the Medicare Hospital, where he was declared dead upon arrival.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" BY KEVIN GALANG A SOLDIER on Sunday drowned while swimming at a resort in Gen.
