Maria, Bulacan<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A belated reports said aside from the mother, her kids aged 1, 3, and 6, lost their lives in the blaze.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The fire broke out in the victims\u2019 home in <\/strong>Bgy. San Vicente, Sta. Maria, Bulacan.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to neighbors, they saw smoke coming out of the victims\u2019 house. They immediately responded and destroyed the gate to rescue the children inside.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n An investigation showed the mother, who was reportedly suffering from severe depression, allegedly set her kids on fire leading to their deaths.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Based on a neighbor\u2019s account, before the woman\u2019s eldest son died, he managed to say that their mother doused them with paint thinner before setting them ablaze.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The 1-year-old boy died on the spot while the mother and her two other children succumbed to burnt injuries at the hospital.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Responding firefighters found at the crime scene a match and wo bottles of paint thinner.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Village officials told probers that prior to the tragic incident, the woman went to the barangay hall and filed a blotter, citing marital problems.<\/strong> They were shocked when the following day they learned of the dreadful event.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The woman\u2019s husband was in Batangas when the incident happened.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" BY KEVIN GALANG A 31-YEAR-OLD woman and her three children died in a house fire in Sta.
