MALACA\u00d1ANG<\/strong> on Wednesday welcomed the European Union\u2019s (EU) decision to remove the Philippines from its list of high-risk third world countries for money laundering and terrorism financing, describing it as a testament to the Marcos administration\u2019s reform agenda.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In a press briefing, Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the EU\u2019s move is a strong affirmation of the country\u2019s strengthened safeguards against financial crimes.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cIbig sabihin lang nito ay patuloy ang paglakas ng anti-money laundering at anti- terrorism financing measures ng bansa,\u201d Castro said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Upon President Ferdinand R.
