BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A GRAB driver was stabbed and his car was stolen by two carnappers in Macabebe, Pampanga.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n However, alert authorities were able to arrest the suspects<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Penones Jr. by the Pampanga police said nabbed were alias \u201cEyas,\u201d 40, of Binondo, Manila; and alias \u201cDrin,\u201d 25, of Bgy. San Juan, TayTay, Rizal.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n An investigation showed Grab driver Julian Payoyo, 39, of Guadalupe Nuevo, Makati City, was booked by the suspects from Taytay going to Pampanga on Wednesday.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Upon reaching Bgy. Consuelo in Macabebe, one of the suspects suddenly stab the victim at the back several times while the other suspect hit him with a gun on the forehead before throwing him off the vehicle.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Fortunately, the wounded victim still managed to call for help from bystanders nearby, who helped him inform the soldiers manning an Army detachment a few meters away where he was dropped off by the suspects.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Responding authorities chased the suspects, eventually cornering and arrested them.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Confiscated from the suspects were a gun replica, a hand grenade, a knife and a black bag containing assorted IDs and cellphone. <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment,<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The arrested suspects were brought to the Macabebe Police Station and will be charged with violations of the new Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016 or RA 10883, frustrated murder, RA 9516, and RA 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" BY KEVIN GALANG A GRAB driver was stabbed and his car was stolen by two carnappers in Macabebe, Pampanga.
