BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga \u2013 Fast action by members of the Central Luzon police on Saturday resulted in the arrest of two men in separate gun-related incidents in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija and Bocaue, Bulacan.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In Cabanatuan City, patrolling officers immediately responded to a 911 hotline call about indiscriminate firing inside a subdivision. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The police\u2019s swift response resulted in the arrest of a gun-wielding man and the confiscation of a government-issued cal. .45 pistol.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Charges for violation of Republic Act 11926 or the Anti-Indiscriminate Discharge of Firearms Act were filed against the arrested suspect. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In Bocaue, Bulacan, another suspect was caughtt for allegedly pointing a shotgun at a resident while drunk.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Seized were the gun, a live ammunition, and other personal effects. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The suspect is facing complaints for grave threat and violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Pe\u00f1ones Jr. lauded the successful operations, saying these reflect the proactive stance of the police force in safeguarding communities.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cThese incidents underscore the importance of vigilance and timely police response. By employing enhanced managing police operations, in line with the 7- Focus Agenda of our acting PNP chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio C.
