BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga \u2014 The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has scored another breakthrough in its campaign against fugitives following the arrest of a Korean national wanted in his country for fraud.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A report to PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Pe\u00f1ones Jr. identified the arrested fugitive as Ha Sangmoo alias \u201cHa, Sangmu,\u201d 48.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ha, who has been classified as an \u201cundesirable alien\u201d and wanted by the International Police (Interpol), is facing charges for violation of Article 347(1) of the Korean Criminal Act (fraud). <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Joint operatives of the Fugitive Search Unit\u2013Bureau of Immigration (FSU-BID), Field Legal Service\u2013Regional Intelligence Division 3 (FLS-RID3), the San Fernando City police, and the Pampanga Police Provincial Office (PPO) arrested Ha.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The arrest stemmed from an Interpol notice relayed to RID3, which led to the issuance of a mission order and preparation of a Target Intelligence Packet (TIP).<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n After undergoing medical examination, Ha was placed under the temporary custody of the San Fernando City police.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Pe\u00f1ones commended the successful operation, highlighting it as proof of the effectiveness of enhanced, intelligence-driven policing in Central Luzon.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cThis operation once again demonstrates the value of accurate intelligence and strong inter-agency collaboration in bringing fugitives to justice,\u201d Pe\u00f1ones said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The official added that effort to arrest Ha aligns with the 7 Focus Agenda of acting PNP chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio C.
