{"id":17482,"date":"2025-11-15T01:13:08","date_gmt":"2025-11-14T17:13:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/?p=17482"},"modified":"2025-11-15T01:13:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-14T17:13:08","slug":"ncrpo-on-full-alert-ahead-of-3-day-inc-rally-over-16000-cops-deployed-to-provide-security","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/index.php\/2025\/11\/15\/ncrpo-on-full-alert-ahead-of-3-day-inc-rally-over-16000-cops-deployed-to-provide-security\/","title":{"rendered":"NCRPO ON FULL ALERT AHEAD OF 3-DAY INC RALLY; OVER 16,000 COPS DEPLOYED TO PROVIDE SECURITY  \u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>THE National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) was placed on full alert status in preparation for the three-day rally of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) and other groups scheduled from November 16 to 18.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Philippine National Police on Friday raised its security posture ahead of the three-day religious gatherings and public assemblies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>According to the PNP, the initial deployment of personnel will start on Saturday, with full deployment on Sunday, to ensure readiness across Metro Manila.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A total of 16,664 police personnel from the NCRPO, national support units, and various Police Regional Offices have been assigned to secure key areas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Acting PNP chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. assured the public that the PNP is fully prepared for the large-scale gatherings.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Nartatez said that the size and scope of the event require a broad and strategic deployment of personnel.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThe gathering is massive, and there are many areas that need to be secured, so we have strengthened the presence of our police personnel. Our goal is to ensure everyone\u2019s safety and to maintain peace throughout the three-day activities,\u201d the country&#8217;s top cop said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Around 300,000 participants daily are expected at the People Power Monument and EDSA Shrine in Quezon City..<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Some 100,000 people are expected at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Other key locations include Liwasang Bonifacio, ICI Grounds, the Senate of the Philippines, House of Representatives, US Embassy, Ayala Bridge, and major streets in Manila and Quezon City.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Nartatez said that police personnel have been strategically positioned across Quezon City, Manila, Pasay, and key road networks, including government buildings, control points, and high-density routes leading to rally sites. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional units are deployed for intelligence monitoring, logistical support, emergency response, and seaborne patrols.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>PNP spokesperson Brig. Gen. Randulf T. Tua\u00f1o said the police presence aims to reassure the public and maintain order throughout the three-day period.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cWe want everyone to know that the PNP is on top of the situation. We have enough personnel, resources, and coordination with partner agencies to ensure safety.
