Bakilid.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The victim suffered several gunshot wounds and was declared dead on arrival at the Mandaue City District Hospital.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Recovered at the crime scene were 11 empty shells of an unidentified firearm.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Authorities are hunting down the gunmen. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The \u00a0Integrated Bar of the Philippines \u00a0(IBP) condemned the killing of Lincuna.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cViolence of this nature unsettles not only the legal community but the public&#8217;s confidence in the justice system,\u201d the IBP said in a statement.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Police formed a special investigation task group (SITG) to fast-track the probe into the ambush-killing of Lincuna.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Probers are investigating several possible motives, including work-related, business and personal angles.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lincuna\u2019s family and close friends reported no known threats against him.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RIDING-IN-TANDEM assassins on Thursday killed a CPA-lawyer in an ambush in Mandaue City.
