\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n A PUBLIC school teacher in Muntinlupa died during a classroom observation.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Department of Education (DepEd)\u00a0 is mourning the death of teacher Agnes Buenaflor, 58.<\/strong><\/p>\n Buenaflor collapsed while teaching a class under observation on Jan. 7 at Pedro E. Diaz High School in Muntinlupa City. <\/strong><\/p>\n She was rushed to a hospital, where she later died.<\/strong><\/p>\n The DepEd expressed its deepest condolences to the family, colleagues, and learners of the late teacher.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n “We mourn the loss of a dedicated educator and stand in solidarity with the school community during this difficult time,” it said.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Meanwhile, the Teachers\u2019 Dignity Coalition (TDC) has called on the DepEd to immediately declare a nationwide suspension of classroom \u00a0observations and to conduct a broad consultations with teachers following the reported death of the Muntinlupa public school teacher.<\/strong><\/p>\n In a letter addressed to DepEd Sec.
