POLICE\u00a0 are investigating the death of a man and woman who were found inside a sport utility vehicle parked along the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX) in Bgy. San Francisco, Victoria, Tarlac on Wednesday afternoon.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Based on a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jess Mendez, a supervisor of the Petron TPLEX Southbound Station noticed a Ford Escape\u00a0 parked at the rear portion of a Starbucks outlet, with its engine still running.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Suspicious of the unusual situation, the supervisor approached the vehicle and saw two individuals seated inside.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The gas station personnel knocked on the windshield several times to get the attention of the duo inside the vehicle but both failed to respond.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The supervisor immediately reported the matter to the Pura Municipal Police Station.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Upon verification, authorities determined that the area where the vehicle was parked was within the jurisdiction of the Victoria Municipal Police Station.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Pura police then coordinated with their counterparts in Victoria for appropriate action.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Responding officers found the male and female occupants unresponsive. Their identities have yet to be established.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Police immediately cordoned off the area.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Members of the Tarlac Forensic Unit Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) and the Provincial Explosive and Canine Unit (PECU) conducted a crime scene processing and assisted in the investigation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Authorities have yet to determine the cause of death of the victims and are pursuing further investigation to establish their identities and the circumstances surrounding their death.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
