Silvestre C. Colanza.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Major accomplishments include the successful anti-illegal drug operations, arrests of wanted persons, recovery of loose firearms, and intensified enforcement of local ordinances.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-style: revert-layer; font-weight: revert-layer;\"><strong><span style=\"font-style: revert-layer; font-weight: revert-layer;\">From May 21 to June 21, the\u00a0 Pe\u00f1aranda police arrested three individuals involved in illegal drugs and confiscated approximately three grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P20,400.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-style: revert-layer; font-weight: revert-layer;\"><strong><span style=\"font-style: revert-layer; font-weight: revert-layer;\">Stepped up operations against wanted persons resulted in the arrest of seven wanted felons.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Among those caught were three most wanted persons, including the town&#8217;s no. 1 most wanted and the province&#8217;s\u00a0 no. 5 most wanted for sexual assault.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-style: revert-layer; font-weight: revert-layer;\"><strong><span style=\"font-style: revert-layer; font-weight: revert-layer;\">In the campaign against loose firearms and criminality, authorities facilitated the surrender of two firearms &#8212; a cal. .38 revolver and a cal..22 magnum revolver with four rounds of ammunition.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-style: revert-layer; font-weight: revert-layer;\"><strong><span style=\"font-style: revert-layer; font-weight: revert-layer;\">The police station likewise received the voluntary surrender of 16 reams and nine packs of counterfeit tobacco products valued at P10,163, bolstering government efforts against illicit trade and tax evasion.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-style: revert-layer; font-weight: revert-layer;\"><strong><span style=\"font-style: revert-layer; font-weight: revert-layer;\">One of the Pe\u00f1aranda Municipal Police Station\u2019s notable accomplishments was the strict implementation of\u00a0 ordinances.\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Through sustained checkpoint operations and Oplan Sita, police confiscated 167 modified mufflers.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-style: revert-layer; font-weight: revert-layer;\"><strong><span style=\"font-style: revert-layer; font-weight: revert-layer;\">Authorities said no index crime under the eight focus crimes was recorded in the municipality during the period, reflecting the effectiveness of crime prevention and law enforcement measures.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-style: revert-layer; font-weight: revert-layer;\"><strong><span style=\"font-style: revert-layer; font-weight: revert-layer;\">Officials attributed the accomplishments to the leadership of Colanza and the guidance of Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office director Col. Ritchie R. Claravall, Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez, and Philippine National Police chief Gen. Jose Melencio C.
