Gen. Jess Mendez said the Korean Embassy formally commended the police force through a letter dated June 25, 2026, commending the &#8220;swift and thorough resolution&#8221; of the homicide case and the professionalism demonstrated by investigators.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-style: revert-layer; font-weight: revert-layer;\">The embassy expressed its appreciation to PRO3, the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office, and all operating units that took part in the investigation, noting that the prompt action of Philippine authorities reinforced public confidence in the country&#8217;s justice system and highlighted the strong law enforcement cooperation between the Philippines and South Korea.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-style: revert-layer; font-weight: revert-layer;\">Records showed the Korean victim was discovered on June 17 inside an abandoned vehicle in General Tinio, Nueva Ecija.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-style: revert-layer; font-weight: revert-layer;\">Authorities immediately launched an intensive investigation using coordinated intelligence operations, forensic examinations, CCTV backtracking, and close coordination among police units.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-style: revert-layer; font-weight: revert-layer;\">In three days, investigators successfully identified and arrested key suspects, leading to the fast resolution of the case.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-style: revert-layer; font-weight: revert-layer;\">Mendez credited the accomplishment to the dedication and professionalism of police personnel involved in the investigation.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-style: revert-layer; font-weight: revert-layer;\">&#8220;This recognition from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea reflects the steady commitment of PRO3 personnel to deliver swift, precise, and evidence-based police operations.
