THE Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Manila praised \u00a0the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) for its swift resolution of the murder case involving a 37-year-old South Korean national whose body was found in Nueva Ecija earlier this month.<\/strong><\/p>\n

PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jess Mendez said the Korean Embassy formally commended the police force through a letter dated June 25, 2026, commending the “swift and thorough resolution” of the homicide case and the professionalism demonstrated by investigators.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The embassy expressed its appreciation to PRO3, the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office, and all operating units that took part in the investigation, noting that the prompt action of Philippine authorities reinforced public confidence in the country’s justice system and highlighted the strong law enforcement cooperation between the Philippines and South Korea.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Records showed the Korean victim was discovered on June 17 inside an abandoned vehicle in General Tinio, Nueva Ecija.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Authorities immediately launched an intensive investigation using coordinated intelligence operations, forensic examinations, CCTV backtracking, and close coordination among police units.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In three days, investigators successfully identified and arrested key suspects, leading to the fast resolution of the case.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Mendez credited the accomplishment to the dedication and professionalism of police personnel involved in the investigation.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

“This recognition from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea reflects the steady commitment of PRO3 personnel to deliver swift, precise, and evidence-based police operations. We remain committed to protecting all individuals in Central Luzon\u2014Filipinos and foreign nationals alike\u2014through disciplined and coordinated law enforcement action,” the official said.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Central Luzon top cop added that the regional police force will continue enhancing its investigative capabilities, strengthening inter-agency coordination, and deepening international cooperation to ensure the timely resolution of criminal cases and the protection of communities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mendez also reaffirmed PRO3’s commitment to the Philippine National Police’s Focused Agenda, emphasizing sustained crime solution initiatives, operational excellence, and responsive public service across Central Luzon.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“This achievement reflects our continuing commitment to the vision of Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman\u2014delivering prompt justice and dependable public service to the people,” he said.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
