{"id":21168,"date":"2026-08-26T12:45:24","date_gmt":"2026-08-26T04:45:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/?p=21168"},"modified":"2026-08-26T12:46:47","modified_gmt":"2026-08-26T04:46:47","slug":"lto-suspends-nino-muhlachs-drivers-license-for-90-days-after-antipolo-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/index.php\/2026\/08\/26\/lto-suspends-nino-muhlachs-drivers-license-for-90-days-after-antipolo-crash\/","title":{"rendered":"LTO SUSPENDS NI\u00d1O MUHLACH\u2019S DRIVER\u2019S LICENSE FOR 90-DAYS AFTER ANTIPOLO CRASH  \u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>THE Land Transportation Office (LTO) has suspended for 90-days the driver\u2019s license of former child actor <\/strong><strong>Ni\u00f1o Muhlach<\/strong> <strong>whose car swerved to the other lane before it plowed three establishments and a parked motorcycle leaving a man injured in an accident on Marcos Highway in Antipolo City, Rizal on Aug. 23.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>LTO chief Markus Lacanilao said the actor was also directed to appear before the agency\u2019s Intelligence and Investigation Division (IID) on August 28 where he will be asked to submit a sworn affidavit about the incident as part of the process.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The actor\u2019s vehicle will be placed under an alarm status pending investigation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Muhlach<\/strong><strong> has admitted to have fallen asleep while on the steering wheel due to exhaustion.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The LTO said the actor will be asked to explain why he should not be cited for reckless driving and improper person to operate a motor vehicle.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;Bago pa man paandarin ang sasakyan, dapat alam na ng driver kung kaya niyang manatiling alerto hanggang sa makarating sa kaniyang destinasyon.
