IT will be a full circle moment for the Philippine International Convention Center as it serves as the main venue for the ASEAN Leaders\u2019 Summit in November.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is a national treasure that must be preserved and its contributions to the country\u2019s culture and heritage recognized for generations to come, Malaca\u00f1ang said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The PICC, which marked its 50th anniversary last September 5, serves not just as a world-class venue for international events but has also borne witness to the talent and success of Filipinos, Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cHindi na mabilang ang mga pagtatapos, panunumpa at iba pang mahahalagang okasyon na ginanap sa loob ng mga gusali ng PICC. The convention center, underwent a comprehensive restoration last year spearheaded by First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos.<\/strong><\/p>\n
