SIXTEEN\u00a0 heavy equipment worth around P80-million were recovered by its owner from a construction site in Bgy. Bagong Silang, Calatagan, Batangas.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The heavy equipment were composed of backhoes, bulldozers and mini and heavy trucks owned by <\/strong>architect and contractor \u00a0Rafael Dalmacio Bernado Tecson, owner of the RDBT construction firm.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The construction machinery were successfully pulled out from the Caisip compound in the village, where they were\u00a0 temporarily stationed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Earlier, Tecson said they found it difficult to get the heavy equipment after the security guards of Sandari <\/strong>allegedly blocked the pathway of the Caisip compound.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tecson said a conflict between RDBT construction firm and Sandari started when the new management of the latter allegedly failed to honor his contract with the owner of Sandari who already passed away.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In September, Tecson said they attempted to pull out his backhoes, bulldozers and trucks but were prevented by the security guards of Sandari, causing tension and panic among the village residents and tourist officials in the area.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After filing a complaint with the proper authorities, including reporting to the barangay hall headed by its chairman Joel Rico, Tecson, on Sunday (Oct. 4), was able to successfully pull out his construction equipment.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Personnel of the Calatagan Municipal Police Station led by its chief Maj. Julius Almeda provided security in the area to avoid any untoward incident.<\/strong><\/p>\n
