{"id":21695,"date":"2026-10-09T07:27:48","date_gmt":"2026-10-08T23:27:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/?p=21695"},"modified":"2026-10-09T07:27:48","modified_gmt":"2026-10-08T23:27:48","slug":"2-korean-pogo-workers-nabbed-for-p1m-ketamine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/index.php\/2026\/10\/09\/2-korean-pogo-workers-nabbed-for-p1m-ketamine\/","title":{"rendered":"2 KOREAN POGO WORKERS NABBED FOR P1M KETAMINE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>POLICE on Tuesday arrested two Korean nationals reportedly working as Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) workers following the confiscation of around P1 million worth of ketamine in a buy-bust operation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>According to PDEA \u00a0arrested were\u00a0 alias \u201cJung,\u201d 38, and alias \u201cHyun,\u201d 31.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-style: revert-layer;\">PDEA said Jung had been in the Philippines for about five months while Hyun had stayed in the country for about a year.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Confiscated were around 200 grams of suspected ketamine with an estimated street value of P1 million, a mobile phone and the marked money used in the sting.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The buy-bust stemmed from informations provided by a confidential informant.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-style: revert-layer;\">A composite team from the PDEA Region 3 Special Enforcement Team (RSET), PDEA Pampanga Provincial Office, and Mabalacat City Police Station launched the sting.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BY KEVIN GALANG &nbsp;
