A WOMAN trying to save her husband from being shot by a drunk man was killed instead on Thursday in Tarlac.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n

In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Tarlac police identified the victim as Susana Remigio, 59, of Purok 6, Bgy. Guevara La Paz, Tarlac.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Suspect Alexander Esteban, 53, of Bgy. Guevara, La Paz, was later arrested by responding personnel of the La Paz police.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Prior to the killing, the suspect, who was armed with a gun and under the influence of liquor, was chasing Ricky Remigio when the victim intervened.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The suspect shot Susana.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Witnesses rushed the woman to the La Paz Medicare Community Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival by attending physician, Dr. Jose Carlex C. Lazaga.<\/p>\n
