BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Mayor Crisostomo Garbo who was visiting bed-ridden constituents in Bgy. Poblacion in this city on Wednesday led the arrest of two drug suspects in the village.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mabalacat City police commander Lt. Col. Alfredo Canlas identified the arrested suspects as Jerson Balajadia and Sarex Serrano.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Mabalacat mayor was in Bgy. Poblacion when he observed a group of individuals acting suspiciously.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n When the cops tried to approach the group, the men scampered to different directions.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mayor Garbo, who was quick to respond, managed to capture one of the suspects, with the help of the local police.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n It turned out that the suspect was in possession of the illegal drugs.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Another suspect was arrested in a follow-up operation.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Lawmen seized from the duo three plastic sachets containing shabu.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Garbo commended the quick response of Canlas and his men.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “Our police force has once again demonstrated their commitment to keeping our community safe,” the Mabalacat mayor said. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “Their swift action following my encounter with the suspects has led to another successful operation against illegal drugs in our city,” he added.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Canlas said: “We will continue to intensify our anti-illegal drug operations and we will not relent in our pursuit to make Mabalacat a drug-free city.”<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The arrest of the two suspects sends a clear message that Mabalacat City authorities are vigilant and proactive in their fight against the drug menace.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" BY KEVIN GALANG MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Mayor Crisostomo Garbo who was visiting bed-ridden constituents in Bgy.
