The tremor, which occurred at 4:23 p.m. Tuesday, was also felt in some parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila.<\/p>\n

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the epicenter of the quake was seven kilometers southeast of Lubang town.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
It was of tectonic origin and had a depth of 79 kilometers.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Phivolcs said aftershocks may occur but no damage is expected.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n

Last Saturday, a magnitude 7.4 earthquake hit Hinatuan town in Surigao del Sur.<\/p>\n
