PRESIDENT Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Friday expressed the Philippines\u2019 solidarity with United Kingdom in praying for the recovery of King Charles III, who recently was diagnosed with cancer.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cSending my heartfelt best wishes to King Charles and Queen Camilla. The Philippines is with the United Kingdom in praying for the King\u2019s swift and full recovery,\u201d President Marcos said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Buckingham Palace earlier this week revealed the 75-year-old monarch has been diagnose with cancer. The type of cancer, however, was not disclosed to the public.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The King is currently undergoing regular treatment and has postponed his public duties.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n President Marcos and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos were among those who were invited to attend the coronation of King Charles III in May last year.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" PRESIDENT Ferdinand R.
