A BOMB threat on Tuesday rocked the main campus of the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) in Cabanatuan City.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n All students, personnel, and faculty members were ordered to immediately vacate the premises, including other NEUST off-campuses in the province, due to the bomb scare.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Newly-installed NEUST president Dr. Rhodora R. Jugo issued the order as anti-bomb police squads searched the area and conducted paneling operations.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n No bomb or any improvised explosive device was found.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The university administration office learned that the hoax bomb threat originated from an email sent by \u201cBOMBA Attack Squad.\u201d<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Due to the bomb threat, the scheduled \u201cFeb-ibig event\u201d dubbed \u201cHearts Aglow, Love Overflow\u201d at the NEUST off-campus in San Leonardo was cancelled.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cIt is with great regret that we announce the cancellation of the Feb-ibig event, “Hearts Aglow, Love Overflow.” The safety and well-being of our students, faculties and staff are the priority, and we cannot proceed with the event under such circumstances,\u201d a Facebook post stated.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The post added: \u201cFurthermore, we will be moving to an online and modular class between February 14 and 15, 2024.
