THE Land Transportation Office (LTO) is set to conduct an investigation into an apparent road rage incident that occurred <\/strong>at the Subic Special Economic and Freeport Zone in Zambales.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n LTO chief Asst. Secretary Vigor Mendoza II has ordered an investigation into the case involving a Toyota Fortuner that hit a car and left it as if nothing happened.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The incident went viral on social media, prompting the LTO to issue a show-cause order (SCO) to the registered owner of the subject vehicle.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mendoza thanked the netizen who uploaded the video and the witnesses who provided the conduction sticker of the black Toyota Fortuner that paved the way to the owner\u2019s identification hence the investigation.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cI have already directed the regional director of LTO-Region 3 to look into this incident and immediately issue a show cause order to the registered owner of the vehicle,\u201d Mendoza said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Based on the viral video, after hitting a car, the driver of the Toyota Fortuner went back before maneuvering near the vehicle he hit and sped away.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cMalinaw sa video na hindi katanggap-tanggap ang inasal ng driver kung saan matapos banggain ay tinakbuhan pa ang kanyang responsibilidad,\u201d the LTO chief said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mendoza said the black Toyota Fortuner with conduction sticker Z7N788 will be placed on alarm.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n He said that with the information relayed by the witnesses, the LTO will be able to immediately initiate actions against the registered owner and the driver of the subject vehicle.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The LTO
