THE police officer tagged as the prime suspect in the disappearance of <\/strong>beauty queen Catherine Camilon on Tuesday failed to attend the Senate investigation into the case.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Police Major Allan de Castro, in a letter to <\/strong>Senator Ronald dela Rosa, chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs, <\/strong>said he cannot present himself in the investigation because he has to attend to his wife who is eight-months pregnant.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n De Castro said his wife is experiencing pains.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Dela Rosa, a former chief of the Philippine National Police, considered the excuse as an alibi.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “Hindi naman siya nanganak. Bakit hindi siya puwede pumunta? Di rason na buntis ang asawa mo. <\/strong>Ako noon, tatlo ang anak ko, ipinanganak na wala ako. Nandoon ako sa bundok nag-ooperate laban sa NPA. ‘Yun pa buntis pa, hindi pa naman nanganak. Very flimsy alibi,” Dela Rosa said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “If you are listening right now Maj. De Castro, you should come here.
