POLICE arrested a 39-year-old man for stabbing his own mother dead in Quezon City.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Nabbed was Romeo Opriasa, a resident of Amuslan St., Bgy. Masambong, Quezon City.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n An investigation showed the suspect asked for money from his mother.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The mother allegedly refused to give money to her son that earned the ire of the suspect.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Opriasa went to the kitchen and grabbed a knife and attacked his mother.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A brother of the suspect who heard their mother shouting for help came to her rescue.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Village watchmen rushed the victim to the Quezon City General Hospital, where she died while undergoing treatment.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Parricide charges are being readied for filing in court against the suspect.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" POLICE arrested a 39-year-old man for stabbing his own mother dead in Quezon City.
