THE Special Investigation Task Group (SITG) \u201cMotegi\u201d of the Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO) is set to file double murder charges against the alleged killers of a female Japanese national and her mother whose bodies were found buried in a shallow pit in Tayabas City.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to Quezon police director Col. Ledon Monte, the SITG now has sufficient vital testimonies from witnesses and physical evidence against four suspects. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Monte said aside from Litada’s elder sister, Ligaya Pajulas, there are other suspects in the case. He, however, withheld the other suspects’ identities as the case is yet to be filed before the Prosecutor’s Office.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The police official also announced the recovery of the 1,360,000 yen and P30,000 cash inside the house of the victims’ relatives, where they stayed and eventually killed.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The house was searched by operatives of the Tayabas City Police Station on Monday night by virtue of a search warrant aimed at gathering vital information related to the killing.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Apart from the money, Monte said the searching team also gathered other vital evidence, including blood stains on the house\u2019 floor and wall.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Victims Lorry Litada, 54, and Japanese daughter Mai Motegi, 26, reportedly had with them a huge amount of money when they arrived in the country as they were about to acquire a property in San Narciso, Quezon.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Based on the testimony of one of the witnesses, the victims were strangled and stabbed to death, corroborating the statement of another witness.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The balikbayan Pinay mother and her Japanese daughter were then buried into a shallow pit, some 26 meters away from the back side of the house, where the killing allegedly took place.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The victims were reported missing since February 21, 2024 by Litada’s other sister, Saylee Oliva Olbis, who lives in Antipolo, Rizal.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Acting on the reports, the Tayabas City Police Station under Lt. Col.
