BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A SUPPOSED happy picnic turned into tragedy when an eight-year-old girl drowned during a family outing on Labor Day at Dupinga River in Bgy. Malinao, Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Nueva Ecija police identified the victim as Raign, of Bgy. Tagumpay, Gabaldon town.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to the victim’s grandmother, they went to the river for a picnic. Minutes later, she noticed that her granddaughter was missing.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The grandma was told that the victim went for a swim.
