A BARANGAY chairman in Cavite on Saturday was killed in a gun attack in Maragondon town.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Slain was Rodrigo Tanagras alias \u201cRod,\u201d the 53-year-old chairman of Bgy. Bridge A in Maragondon, said a report to town police chief Maj. Cris Mangupay.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Tanagras was helping barangay health workers cut grass along the village road when two armed men in a Honda Click car arrived and shot him repeatedly before fleeing.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The victim was rushed to San Lorenzo Ruiz Hospital in the nearby town of Naic but was declared dead on arrival by attending physician Dr. Glenerson Ontiveros.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mangupay immediately ordered his men to arrest the suspects and determine the motive for the killing.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" A BARANGAY chairman in Cavite on Saturday was killed in a gun attack in Maragondon town.
