BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has deployed a total of 4,304 PNP personnel to secure various Commission on Elections (Comelec) offices in the region to ensure a peaceful, orderly, and transparent process during the filing of certificates of candidacy (COCs) from October 1 to 8.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The deployment, which began October 1, covered\u00a0 key areas, including major cities, municipalities, and other strategic locations, where filing activities are anticipated.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Police personnel are tasked with ensuring the safety and security of candidates, their supporters, and the general public while managing potential security threats and ensuring compliance with election laws.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan emphasized the PNP\u2019s commitment to uphold public safety throughout the electoral process. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “We are fully prepared to respond to any situation that may arise during the filing of COCs.
