PASSENGERS at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) can now enjoy faster and more reliable free Wi-Fi.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n This as the airport\u2019s new private sector operator, New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC),<\/strong> upgraded wifi connectivity as part of its efforts to enhance services.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Average internet speeds at NAIA terminals have significantly increased, with passengers now enjoying speeds of 50-60 Mbps, with peak speeds reaching 115 Mbps.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Currently, an average of 1,000 users per hour connect to the \u201cNewNAIA\u201d free Wi-Fi network across all terminals.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Passengers can enjoy up to three hours of free access, eliminating the previous two-hour limit and the need to provide personal information.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n To ensure better and reliable coverage, NNIC said it partnered with both PLDT\/Smart and Converge as Wi-Fi providers.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “For air travelers, fast and reliable internet connectivity is a must,” the NNIC said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cWhether it\u2019s for completing online travel requirements, accessing information, staying connected with loved ones, or simply browsing social media, good internet access is essential at any modern international airport,\u201d the airport\u2019s new private operator stated.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n These improvements are part of NNIC\u2019s ongoing efforts to enhance the passenger experience at NAIA.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cWe are committed to providing a high level of service that meets the expectations of today\u2019s travelers,\u201d said the NNIC .<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cIn time, we hope to deliver on this promise across all aspects of NAIA operations,\u201d it added.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" PASSENGERS at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) can now enjoy faster and more reliable free Wi-Fi.
