BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n FISHERMEN on Monday recovered around 2,150 grams of shabu worth P14.62 million in the waters off Zambales and Bataan.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Two plastic bags containing roughly 1,800 grams of shabu\u00a0 valued at P12.24 \u00a0million were found by eight fishermen from Bgy. Matain in Subic, Zambales.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency \u2013Zambales said the illegal drugs were spotted floating near Lubang Island.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n On the same day, a fisherman from Bgy. Camaya in Mariveles, Bataan, discovered a plastic bag containing around 350 grams of shabu, worth P2.38 million.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The recovered illegal drugs were turned over to the PDEA offices in Zambales and Bataan and will be brought to the PDEA national headquarters for further investigation. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n PDEA-Zambales and Bataan have launched a joint investigation to determine the origin of the illegal drugs and possible links between the two finds.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" BY KEVIN GALANG FISHERMEN on Monday recovered around 2,150 grams of shabu worth P14.62 million in the waters off Zambales and Bataan.
