BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A NIGERIAN kidnap victim on Thursday was rescued while five of his compatriots who reportedly abducted him were arrested in a rescue operation in Angeles City, Pampanga.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Police identified the victim as identified as Ikeagwuana Kingsley Chukwuemeka, a Nigerian national residing in Mabalacat City.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Chukwuemeka was abducted near the vicinity of ALIBI Music Lounge in Makati City on November 1 and was brought to a rented house on Pansy St., Deca Homes in Bgy. Margot in Angeles City. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n After receiving a report about the alleged abduction, members of the Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) headed by Brig. Gen. Ruel Rodolfo, the Pampanga police under the leadership of Col. Jay Dimaandal, and the Angeles City police led by Col. Amado Mendoza Jr., immediately launched a rescue operation.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Arrested during the operation were students Evans Enwwereaku Chinemerem, 30, of Clarkview Residence, Sampaguita St, Malabanias, Angeles City; David Chidera Ibegbulam, 28, of Letecia St, Josefa 1, Malabanias, Angeles City; Onwokeke Christian Ihechukwu, 28, of Clarkview Residence, Sampaguita St., Malabanias, Angeles City; Nwokeke Cajothan Chinemmerem, 29, of Clarkview, Bgy. Malabanias, Angeles City; and Okonkwo Emmanuel Kosiso, 27, of Mansfield Residence, Sto. Domingo, Angeles City, all Nigerian nationals.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Prior to the rescue, authorities said the suspects left the victim at a house in Bgy. Margot and went to Angelic Premier Residence in Bgy. Malabanias, Angeles City, where the payment of P400,000 ransom took place.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Unknown to the suspects they were negotiating with the AKG undercover agents. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Upon receiving the ransom payment, the five Nigerians were immediately arrested by the police.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The group then proceeded to a rented house in Bgy.
