JOINT operatives on Thursday raided an illegal LPG plant in Sta. Maria, Bulacan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, authorities swooped down on an LPG plant allegedly operating illegally at the Marilao Industrial Compound in Bgy. Mahabang Parang, Sta. Maria town,
Albert “Abet” Achong also known as plant owner Albert Sevillana, and Tess Camanato, the plant manager, both of Bgy. Mahabang Parang, Sta. Maria, Bulacan were not around during the raid.
Members of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Regional Field Unit 3-RSOT, CIDG Bulacan Provincial Field Unit and the Sta. Maria police implemented a search warrant against the owners and operators of the illegal LPG facility.
The search warrant for violation of Republic Act 623 as amended by Republic Act 5700 (An Act to Regulate the Use of Duly Stamped of Marked Bottles, Boxes, Casks Kegs, Barrels and Other Similar Containers) was issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 21, Malolos City, Bulacan.
However, only checker Olga Cagua Baldonado was found on-site.
Seized were 17 empty units of 11-kg Pryce LPG cylinders, one Pryce gas LPG cylinder tank with S-FLAME Seal (refilled), eight Pryce gas empty LPG Cylinder (repainted), a 2.7-kg. Power Kalan Pryce Gas empty LPG cylinder, 13 analog weighing scales (60kg), 2 Toledo grain scale (200kg), 13 refilling hoses, four refilling machines for 2.7 kgs, three ir compressors, an LPG pump, two LPG compressors, three LPG Storage tanks; and two 50kg empty cylinder Pryce Gas.
The confiscated Pryce Gas LPG cylinders and machines and equipment were estimated to be worth P5,708,455.
The seized pieces of evidence were brought to the CIDG Regional Field Unit 3 while charges for violation of Republic Act 623 are being readied for filing in court against the suspects.
