THE Dalta-Jonelta Foundation on Sunday launched anew their “Angels of Hope” Christmas Tree Lighting at Sol Y Viento Hotels and Resorts in Bgy. Pansol, Calamba City, Laguna.
The Christmas Tree lighting ceremony was the highlight of the “Project: Angels of Hope” to mark the third year anniversary of the meaningful initiative, dedicated to children battling cancer.
The Christmas Tree is 28ft-tall.

A light bulb worth P200 each is a great help to children fighting cancer, who are unable to treat their lives.
An amount of 100,000 was raised from over a hundred people who attended the event, including Calamba City First Lady and wife of Mayor Roseller Rizal, and Bgy. Pansol chair Joel Martinez.
“This project of the Foundation, in collaboration with Sol Y Viento Hotel and Alta D’ Tagaytay, can really help kids battling cancer. Since we started in 2022, we have around four kid patients who have been helped. Even with a small method we have connected their lives, in collaboration with the Perpetual Help Medical Center and University of Perpetual Help System, “Dr. Consuelo Reyes, executive director of Dalta Jonelta Foundation Inc. said.
The “Angels of Hope” project is a brainchild of resort general manager Bernie Corpuz . It aims to help the underprivileged kids with cancer.
Apart from the annual Christmas Tree Lighting, the “Project: Angels of Hope” also had donation boxes in hotels, hospitals and educational institutions in the country.
“The donation boxes are collected annually to supplement the needs of the patients,” Corpuz said.
“I am also calling on those with good hearts, our hotels are open for any help you can give us for this program,” Corpuz added.
Marianito Tamayo, Board of Director of the University of Perpetual Help System Jonelta, and his family also joined the program.
