CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Operatives of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) on Wednesday scored significant successes in separate operations in Pampanga and Bulacan.
In Pampanga, members of the 302nd Mobile Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 (RMFB3), in coordination with the Magalang police and the Naval Intelligence and Security Group-Northern Luzon, arrested alias “Jom” in a buy-bust operation in Magalang, Pampanga.
The suspect, yielded a cal. .22 pistol without a serial number, three live bullets and the marked money.
Alias “Jom” will be charged with violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act and the Omnibus Election Code.
In Bulacan, personnel from the Hagonoy police and the Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit foiled a robbery at an Alfa Mart convenience store in Bgy. San Agustina and arrested four suspects, including a store employee who conspired with the robbers.
A follow-up operation in Calumpit, Bulacan led to the recovery of P59,000 in stolen money from the store.
Charges for robbery were filed against the suspects.
“These successful operations demonstrate the commitment of PRO3 to combat criminality and ensure the safety and security of the public,” said PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo.
“We will continue to intensify our efforts against all forms of lawlessness to maintain peace and order in the region,” she added.
