BULACAN LAUDS PRO3, MENDEZ FOR OUTSTANDING ANTI-SMUGGLING, PUBLIC SAFETY DRIVES

MALOLOS CITY, Bulacan — The provincial government of Bulacan on Monday recognized the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) and its regional director Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez, for their outstanding performance in public safety, peace and order, and anti-smuggling operations.

Mendez received a Provincial Resolution of Recognition from the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Bulacan during the Monday flag-raising ceremony at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium.

The resolution commended Mendez’s leadership in steering PRO3 to the Top 1 ranking in the Department of the Interior and Local Government’s (DILG) Safer Cities Initiative and the Top 1 Campaign Against Smuggling.

The provincial government said the accomplishments have helped strengthen peace and order in Bulacan while protecting legitimate businesses and the local economy from the impact of criminal activities.

Mendez thanked the provincial government of Bulacan for the recognition, saying the award belongs to the entire PRO3 organization and its partner agencies.

“This recognition is not mine alone but belongs to every police officer of Police Regional Office 3 who continues to serve with dedication, integrity, and professionalism,” Mendez said.

He said the recognition underscores the shared commitment of the police and local government partners to maintain safe communities, uphold the rule of law, and protect the welfare of the people.

Mendez also reaffirmed PRO3’s commitment to sustaining its gains in crime prevention, anti-smuggling operations, and community safety initiatives in line with the Focused Agenda of  PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr..

He vowed that PRO3 will continue delivering “Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman” to communities across Central Luzon.
